Erin Martinez focuses her practice on employment and labor consulting, litigation and workplace injury cases. She handles a wide variety of employment law and labor issues including focusing on the representation of government employees, public and private sector employee organizations and their members. She represents numerous public sector employee organizations in labor relations, bargaining and negotiation matters, as well as individual members in internal investigative, administrative and disciplinary proceedings. She represents private sector employee organizations in labor relations and negotiations matters. She also represents government employees on an individual basis at all levels of investigatory, administrative and disciplinary proceedings. In addition to our representation of individuals before local public agencies, such as civil service commissions, we represent government employees before many state and federal level boards and commissions.
Erin Martinez has been involved in numerous cases and lawsuits related to workplace injuries, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, discrimination, accommodations and disability, overtime and wage disputes, immigration matters, negligence, and business disputes. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
She is also admitted to the Texas Supreme Court. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Labor and Employment Section; and the El Paso Bar Association. Mrs. Martinez is also a member of the West Texas Employment Lawyers Association. She is also appointed to the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee for the State Bar of Texas. She is fluent in Spanish.
Mrs. Martinez lives in El Paso, Texas with her husband and three children.
